Anne-Sophie de la Gatinais: Winner of the Women Leaders in Agriculture Trophy

It is with great emotion and gratitude that I received the Women Leaders in Agriculture Trophy, awarded by COTE Magazine. This distinction means a great deal to me, as it primarily recognizes my daily commitment to breeding, the agricultural world, and animal welfare.

For so many years, I have passionately invested myself in ÉLEVAGE MASSA. It is a demanding profession, requiring time, sacrifices, and sometimes less time with loved ones… but above all, it is a daily passion and commitment.

If this recognition can now allow me to have more influence at the national level to defend and improve the conditions for breeders and farmers, then I will wear this trophy with great honor and responsibility.

I sincerely thank Éditions Côte for this wonderful distinction. I also thank all the people who have accompanied me on this journey for so many years, because without them, I would never have been able to receive this award.

On Thursday evening, a woman leader recalled a quote from Confucius that deeply resonates with me:

“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

And that is exactly how I feel. For me, this profession has never been work, but a vocation.

I simply wanted to share this joy with you.
